Wow! I called Rafi's Pastry to order some dessert for my get together tonight and I am beyond impressed. They have the most beautiful packaging. I wanted an assortment of pastries and they gave me just that. My family is obsessed with mikado so I had to order a whole BOX. Guys, this was the most delicious Mikado I've ever had. The sweetness was perfect, the size was perfect, the presentation was exquisite. They're located on Glenoaks in a beautiful neighborhood. Their service was exceptional. I have yet to come across such amazing customer service at a bakery. If you're in the neighborhood and you're looking for a sweet gesture, look no further. This place is officially my favorite bakery!
I've literally dreamt of the day that Rafi will make my wedding cake. Everyone loved the flavors. We got strawberries and cream as well as a vanilla with milk chocolate cream. Amazing! Beautiful cake and very high quality ingredients
Went here today and am pleased to say that it is nothing like the run of the mill Armenian pastry shops. Needless to say, that is long overdue. The pastries are beautiful and delicious; another rare combination. I was assisted by Rafi himself, who was so kind and knowledgeable. It is evident that his heart and soul are in this business. He went out of his way to deliver excellent service. I got the eclair and cream puff. He was also kind enough to give me some things on the house to taste, which was so unexpected and very much appreciated. I asked about the mikado, which I discovered was in a beautiful packaging and ready to gift a lucky recipient. I am mainly gluten free, but would definitely be willing to have a non gluten free dessert from here and that is obviously saying a lot.
I want to order cake from here but aim wondering if that black hair Armenian lady is still around? Do Not want to experience disaster! Any suggestions on how to make sure you actually get your cake ?
I ordered my cake from here and Rafi was the best! He was so patient and answered all my questions with a smile on his face. The cake was absolutely delicious and beautiful. The customer service is top notch. I will for sure order again!
The pastries from rafi are to die for. We've been customers for 2 years now and love their Christmas themed pastries and many of their cake especially the big triple chocolate cake which is pretty light and tasty! I know some people are complaining about customer service, we've never experienced it being bad so far, everyone's been good but tbh no business is perfect and for the taste of the pastries it's okay. But if your paying lots of money for a custom cake, I totally get it and at worse deserves minus 1 star.
expensive mikado $40 but hey it's an amazing treat & perhaps its worth it if you want it! Very tasty layered chocolatey square treats. One square is 29 grams 136 calories. So the whole thing 20 squares is about 2700 calories if ya cared! You're welcome & keep training hard haha.
